Thanks to the rapid implementation on site and the flexible cooperation with Ram Kumar Tamang, the preschool in Gope was remodelled in time for the cold season.

What has been achieved?

With an investment of just €500, we were able to significantly improve the conditions for the preschool children in winter:

• A new insulated wooden floor: no more cold concrete floor - the insulation ensures a more comfortable floor temperature.
• Two fan heaters: These reliably heat the classroom above freezing point.
• Warm slippers: Each child is provided with fitting slippers to keep his or her feet warm.

Efficient planning and implementation

During the construction phase for the new sanitary building and water supply in Gope, Ram could, since he was present on site, combine the remodelling of the preschool optimally with that work. This close coordination made the fast and smooth implementation possible. At the same time, the rapid and direct communication via the internet made it easier to coordinate the financing and project content - a decisive factor for the success.
