our nurse in the new clinic in Kimalung has passed her qualification.

In the past, regular nurse training did not include the use of ultrasound and other technical equipment for birth preparation and delivery. However, these aids are increasingly finding their way into Nepal’s remote regions, leading to lower mortality rates among newborns.

As our maternity wards are equipped with modern ultrasound machines, among other things, all nurses and midwives have to be trained and tested on the new equipment in a training course in Kathmandu.

Now everything is ready in Kimalung for good preventive care and support for pregnant women.
