• From the first call for donations in Germany to the implementation only two and a half weeks have passed!

• The Corona Station in Betang-Rasuwa is fully functional since June 2nd, 2021.

• The local authorities have given a written guarantee that the nurse financed by Gecotec e.V. for six months will be taken on full time from November for the Betang health station. The region has been awaiting this for a year and a half.

• This clinic is now considered a model project in the fight against Corona - and not only for the Rasuwa region. The reaction of the press has been very positive. We very much hope that other decentralized aid programs will also be set up.

Although the infection figures in Nepal are not yet falling, we are sure that this Corona station can reduce a lot of suffering and will protect lives. The nurse and her assistant are well equipped with the necessary tools for the local conditions, highly motivated for their task and are very well accepted by the population.
