Progress in the construction of the birth and health centre in Kimalung

Even before the rainy season, with sense and understanding and with the help of the population and the financial means available through your donations, the construction site in Kimalung is being set up. From May to October it will no longer be possible for vehicles to get through to Kimalung. Often even longer, because the roads may be buried or impassable by the rain.

Especially for women, the birth centre will change something fundamental. Whether birth control or a safe setting for giving birth - it all is a significant progress.

The operation of the birth and health centre entails three full time jobs that have already been approved by the authorities.

Where is the birth and health centre being built?
Location:

Province No. 1 Eastern Nepal (14 districts).
Bhojapur District
Kimalung Municipality - This includes 16 fragmented villages.
Location of the health centre: Baidar village

Dear supporters,

it is only thanks to your trust that such anticipatory work is possible and thereby financially viable. No bank would get involved in such an approach. By the way, the materials are secured on site and are being guarded with a watchful eye, so that activities can get started quickly in November.

With best regards!
Namaste.
